About the Owner
Alan has spent most of his working life in hospitality receiving great pleasure from providing a great service and making guests feel special. He originally came to the Bay of Islands in 2003 and fell in love with the spot where he built Tarltons Lodge. Now he would like to share the beautiful daytime views, amazing bright stars and the sound of the sea lapping at the beach at night.
